Wessex Cancer Trust volunteer, Malcolm Collier, modi ed and decorated the existing therapy room so that it now provides additional space for groups to meet, as well as being a rejuvenated space for the Centre’s range of complementary therapies, including massage, aromatherapy, re exology and Reiki. e room has been dressed by the Centre’s charity partner John Lewis & Partners Southampton, who provided new chairs, towels and curtains, as well as decorative items including pictures, candles, a lamp, mirror and di user. Support Centre Manager, Maria Gostt, said: “Thanks to the hard work of our wonderful volunteer Malcolm, and the generosity of our charity partner John Lewis & Partners Southampton, we now have this multi-functional space which not only provides a welcoming and calming space for therapies, but also give us the flexibility to host more groups.
