Peter Smith and Cyril Medley arrived from the Fawley Men’s Shed and presented a stunning wooden bench, complete with an Oak Tree decoration. e bench, made by this vital community project based at Gang Warily in Fawley, was donated by members as a thank you for the support and services that many have found at Oakhaven and the Coates Centre. e Men’s Shed, initiated by Fawley Parish Council, provides a much needed place where members gather to share skills, enthusiasm and work on various projects, but also nd companionship over a cuppa. Many of its members have visited the Coates Centre, set in the grounds of Oakhaven Hospice, Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington SO41 8ZZ.
