We can also collect your own grab bags REMEMBERING CONNOR On Sunday 29th September Jerry Still & Leighton O’Hara of e Lord Nelson arranged another charity football match and charity prize draw in memory of Jerry’s son Connor, with the money being donated to Solent Mind. Due to the enormous generosity of everyone involved on the day and through donations made on a Facebook page and a Just Giving Page they raised £3,500 in donations plus another £767 which comes from Gi Aid. is surpassed last years total of £1,100. For the second year running the Charity Football Match was held at Jones Lane Hythe. e Match in memory of Connor Still who died aged 20 in September 2017, was to raise funds for Solent Mind, who help su erers of anxiety and depression. e day was a joyful occasion, the rain held o , and there was a great deal of local support. e teams were made up of both Connor’s young friends and local Superstars and Business men.
