Solent SMEs with six or more full time employees and an annual turnover of at least £1m will now be able to bene t from this free service and access the knowledge and expertise of a senior corporate mentor, who can provide a sounding board for di cult decisions, support in the development of suitable strategies for the future, and managing sta , cash ow and resilience. Solent LEP are also seeking more senior business mentors from across the area to work with SMEs through weekly calls or online meetings. Apply to become a mentor or mentee at rapidresponsementoring.imentor.co.uk New Forest Business Partnership (NFBP) have launched a free weekly Business Support Hour each Wednesday at 3pm. Each week will focus on a speci c topic from a local business expert. e initial session which focused on marketing can be found on NFBP’s YouTube channel where future sessions will also be uploaded An important element of these sessions is the interaction between attending businesses. Whilst the rst half hour is focused on the chosen topic, the second half will allow businesses to share ideas, opportunities or issues. You can sign up to attend this support hour via the NFBP website at www.n p.org.uk/events Local Authorities are awaiting guidance from Government about the scope of these funds, the level of discretion which can be applied locally and con rmation of the nal settlement.
