Support Worker Sue Ward said “We had to cancel our usual summer activity programme because of the pandemic and social distancing guidelines so we wanted to do something special to make up for it. Thanks to some generous donations from Meeting Point, Barton-on-Sea Methodist Church and Ringwood Rotary we actually had some money to spend so we had a magazine printed, got together some craft materials, toys and games and hopefully have provided some fun for the whole family. And thanks to our amazing volunteers we managed to deliver them to everyone’s home within a week!” e bags have been going down really well with lots of positive feedback including one mum who said “We had such a fun afternoon trying some of the things out - yes, it even got a teenager away from his games console!” Another parent emailed to say “Thank you to the wonderful Young Carer team for our goody bag. The children were thrilled and we have been doing the puzzles Freya enjoying hers Connor happily receiving his pack! Continued on page 3
