Glynne persuaded two of his ‘parkrun’ friends Andy and Phil to join him. All three friends were more used to gentle jogs of 5km, so it was quite a challenge when faced with a half marathon to complete the run between New Milton and Ringwood. Glynne Glynne’s Epic 50 Mile Challenge has raised valuable funds for this local advice charity; over £1,700 has been raised to date with people still able to donate. Glynne, a Totton resident and former head of services at New Forest District Council, said, “ I really enjoyed the challenge of running between all 5 Citizens Advice offices across the New Forest. I set off from the Totton office (91 Junction Road) on Sunday 13th September and split the challenge into 5 stages running approximately 50 miles in total taking all 5 offices in Totton, Hythe, Lymington, New Milton and finishing at Ringwood library on the 25th September.
