The Classroom at Lepe will be open from 11am until 5pm every day from Saturday 21st to Monday 30th August . Watermark artists are a group of three - Sandra Binney, Evelyn Bartlett and Jo Lapage – and will have a very varied display of paintings, prints, textiles, designer glass, jewellery, prints and cards for sale. So if you are out and about, walking at Lepe or taking the children for a paddle, drop in and see them. Chatting to visitors is one of the nicest aspects of Open Studios! MANDY SMITH AND AYLSA WILLIAMS VENUE 63 e largest Nature Art Exhibition in Southern England is back again this year. A er being unable to take place last year because of the restrictions at the time, the Southern Nature Art Exhibition will return but at a new venue, Cams Hill School in Fareham. The exhibition will be open to visitors over the August Bank Holiday weekend (27th-30th August), who will be able to enjoy exhibits focusing on Nature, including Wildlife, Wild owers, Seascapes and Landscapes, in a variety of styles and mediums like Sculpture, Photography, Textiles and Ceramic based art. Entry and parking are free , plus there will be tea rooms to sit and relax in with refreshments for you to enjoy. Maybe you fancy trying out some new art skills yourself? Or improving what you already know? Workshops will be taking place that will give you the opportunity to do just that. ere’s a huge variety on o er, so there is something on o er for everyone, including young artists. ere’s Kids Art, Airbrushing, Photography, Calligraphy, Mosaic and more. Mandy is a member of a new art collective in Southampton called Zest and both are members of Red Hot Press in Southampton. Both artists are inspired by the landscape, changing seasons and architecture. Mandy, a ne art graduate, is well known for her range of original heritage prints depicting the cultural and old town buildings in Southampton and the boats found on the water between Hythe and town. A range of original hand-printed prints, framed and unframed, cards, postcards, artist books and gi ware will be available from both artists as well as framed and unframed acrylic paintings Southern Nature Art Exhibition is BACK for its 7th Year VENUE 242
