New for this year will be items of woodturning, carving and embroidery. Art works will include a variety of media including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pencil, pastel and others. e range of subjects will be equally diverse and will include landscapes, still life, abstract, oral and animal portraits. ere will be a special display of ‘Vaccine Hero’ portraits by one of their members. Also one of the members, Sue ompson, has written a book for children called ‘Once upon A Summer Mystery’. e book is beautifully illustrated with Sue’s watercolour paintings. It will be on sale at the exhibition - A perfect gi for any child in your life. Party in the Park Finally it’s back! August sees the welcome return of Marchwood Party in the Park . Go along to the Lloyd Recreation Ground in Marchwood on Saturday 7th August from 2pm until 10pm and experience an a ernoon and evening of top quality music. SwingUnlimited, the big jazz band fromBournemouth, will be making its rst visit ever to Music at Beaulieu on Saturday 7th August presenting a programme of big band items. en on Saturday 25th September the Black Market Quartette – guitar, violin, double bass and drums – will visit for an evening of standard and modern jazz, plus their own special take on some popular contemporary songs.
