In her garden the poet, Ethel Dilke (nee Cli ord), is looking for words for her latest verse; the cook is looking for herbs for dinner. Where is the gardener? Join them in the Sensory Garden for this gentle, accessible play. You are invited to join in and lend them a hand – do you know where the rosemary grows? e household will be getting hungry! Have you got a word to rhyme with snail? Ethel wants to nish a book for her new bookcase while inspiration is with her (and before dinner!) Tickets are free and will be available to book from 1st September . Nature Trail Pick up an activity booklet from the reception desk and start your wildlife search over at Lepe Point Nature Reserve. Suitable for children between 4 and 7 years. Trail is approx. ½ mile long. £1.50 car parking not included. Lepe into History Trail Collect a trail from the reception desk and begin your delve into Lepe’s past! Suitable for children between 6 and 9 years. Trail is approx. 1 mile long. £3.50 with a prize. Car parking not included. Team Wilder Watersiders Do you want to join a group where we all do more for nature? Lepe Country Park with the help of Hythe & Dibden Council are setting up a Team Wilder Watersiders. Team Wilder is an initiative from HIWWT to encourage for children 5 years and above. Terracycle Collection Point Lepe Country Park is now home to a crisp packet collection point. Hand over your empty crisp packets at the reception desk located inside e Lookout. Please don’t fold into triangles and you can also drop o multipack outer packaging. Once collected, Terracycle separates the crisp packets into plastic type, cleaned, and extruded into plastic pellets to make new recycled products. e reception desk is open daily from 10am to 4pm. Environmental Champions Summer’s here! is means Lepe Country Park are launching their Environmental Champion’s passports again! Collect a FREE passport from the reception desk inside e Lookout and join the private Facebook page to help nature by having fun throughout the holidays. e Facebook group will have ideas about di erent activities you can do throughout summer which will help you enjoy the outdoors and experience local wildlife. e park has joined forces with Hythe Library to promote this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, the theme is Wild World Heroes! e passports will also be available from the Library when you sign up for the challenge.
