A ra e was held on the day to raise funds for the WVCC to be able to continue to run and provide support within the local community, where needed. £150 was raised from the ra e and their thanks go to Sargents Butchers, Grove Gardens Fruit and Veg, Fairweathers, Black eld Bakery, Bell Furnishings, Hythe Photographic, Crew Barbers, Be-Be’s Cafe, Millie’s Tearoom, Meraki Beauty Salon, Fawley Premier Store, Cards for All Occasions, e Forest Home Inn, Harts & Mortons Hair Salon, NSN Nails, Ron the Barbers, e Falcon Inn, Garmin, Co-op, Waitrose, Lidl and many more for supporting this worthwhile cause. Tesco Community Champion, Heidi Vickery, kindly gi ed mince pies to go with the refreshments on o er. eWVCC is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10am at Fawley Royal British Legion, Exbury Road, Black eld, SO45 1XD, with their next meeting scheduled for Saturday 19th February . All veterans, serving personnel, their families and dependents are invited to attend and enjoy the usually good humour, refreshments and occasional visiting guests.
