As from January 2023 they will meet in the Palm room of the Totton & Eling Community Centre in the middle of the town, easily accessible by bus and free car parks. In order to secure a space at the centre their meetings will now be held on the second THURSDAY of each month from 1.45pm for a 2pm start. You are guaranteed interesting speakers on a wide variety of subjects. e U3A movement is UK wide and brings together those who are 55 years and over and are retired or semi-retired who come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment. Totton U3A has many groups within it with varied interests from walking to wine appreciation, petanque to reading and Scrabble to history among others. Why not go along and join them and be part of a group of interest to you. Maybe start a group yourself in any subject with like-minded people.
