Bird Watching with a Ranger Inspired by RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, join Ranger Laura on Friday 27th January, 9am at Lepe County Park. You will spend time in the bird hide, identifying the birds in the wooded area around the hide as well as those who frequent the Dark Water River area in front of the hide. is is a free event but pre booking is essential, please either email: lepe.enquiries@hants.gov.uk or phone: 023 8089 9108 to book your place. Usual parking charges apply. Binoculars will be available to borrow for the session. Donations to ‘Friends of Lepe’ gratefully received on the day. MUSIC MAKING AND SHARING Music Making and Sharing takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month (21st January) from 2pm to 5pm at Calmore Village Hall, Pauletts Lane, Totton/Calmore S040 2RS. e cost is jut £5 payable at the door. e group welcome and encourage you to share and listen to people’s musical enthusiasm – the instrument of their choice and the genre they like. All levels of ability welcome from professionals to beginners. Anybody can join who would like to play/sing a couple of pieces to non-judgemental fellow musicians. Take your own wine! Pop into BeBe’s Café to buy your tickets, the full £30 from each ticket will go to the charity.
