On the first Friday of the month there is a fun ‘Arts & Cra s’ session – no experience is required and all materials and tuition is provided, join them on Friday 31st March (moved back from 7th April as that’s Good Friday) for Easter Bowls. On the third Friday of the month there is a ‘Reminiscence Activity’ group - the subject varies from month to month and can include games, speakers etc, Friday 17th March will be a talk ‘Year in the life of the Romsey Town Mayor’. On Friday 21st April will be ‘Memory Box – Royalty’. New to the fourth Friday of the month is a relaxed ‘Singing’ group – not a choir, rather a ‘sing-along’ led by a local singer/ guitarist. Join in the singing on Friday 28th April. e groups all meet from 10.30am to 12.30pm in the Green Room at the Plaza eatre, SO51 8JA in Romsey. ere is a charge of £3 per person per session, which includes all activities and tea/ co ee and biscuits. Evergreen Club For Over 60’s If you are over 60, why not go along to the Evergreen Club for an enjoyable a ernoon? ey have a mix of meetings with speakers or entertainment, quizzes and bingo followed by tea and biscuits. You will nd them in St John’s Hall, New Road, Hythe on the first and third Thursday of each month from 1.45pm to 4pm. First visit FREE! Join them on Thursday 16th March for a social a eronn. Dementia Friendly Cinema Screenings Harbour Lights Cinema has dementia friendly screenings once a month. e shows are at a reduced volume with the lighting on low, there are no adverts or trailers, free tea, co ee and biscuits are served before the lm and there’s a short 20 minute interval. Tickets are £4.30 – free for carers. e next showing is on Tuesday 28th March at 11am – Some Like It Hot. SENIOR LUNCH CLUB St John’s Senior Lunch Club is a wonderful way to meet new people, enjoy a home cooked, two course meal with a hot drink for £5 (Carers will eat free of charge).
