So, why should you consider private tuition for your child? e most common situation is when a child is falling behind, struggling in one or more speci c subjects; losing marks but also interest and con dence. In this case, individual tuition will help to overcome these di culties at their pace as the tuition will be designed around them. Private tuition is mainly about academic support, but will also generate increased con dence, with long term bene ts in the classroom and beyond. Exam preparation is another reason for seeking private educational support. Not only will private tuition address any speci c area of di culty, but it will provide an invaluable tool to help with exam techniques, organisation, planning and time management to get the grade needed to go into a chosen school or university. Local Walking Route Enhanced for Residents New Forest District Council (NFDC) have been making it easier to enjoy local green spaces by improving footpaths in the district as part of the greenspaces project. Locally in Hythe, NFDC have worked to create a walking route through open countryside by adding new access gates and widening the footpath and constructed a new boardwalk at Depedene, between Claypits Lane and Challenger Way. Stretching southwards from Claypits Lane (near its junction with Southampton Road) to Challenger Way (near its junction with Upper Mullin’s Lane) the footpath provides a pleasant walking route through open countryside with occasional views to Southampton. e path has been resurfaced and widened to make it accessible all year around and a spectacular oak boardwalk has been constructed to ensure that even in wet-weather walkers don’t get muddy. e entrance points at both ends of the footpath comprise bi-directional radar swing gates, which are suitable for wheelchair users. e walking route can be joined at either end, or through connections with other narrower footpaths from Widecombe Drive and Lower Mullins Lane to form circular walks of varying lengths.
