There was a great atmosphere and I think people were just glad to get out again and enjoy themselves. Each year, our small team of volunteers work tirelessly to ensure the event goes to plan, so I am pleased it has paid off. With the money still being counted, it is too early to report the final sum, but we can be sure it was another successful fundraiser. Special thanks must go to our raft race secretary, Colin Thompson, who has been promoting the raft race, as well as our cause in general, daily, for several months on the raft race Facebook page he set up”. Also at the ra race was Cole’s Fairground, a burger van, Vibrant Forest Brewery, Blackwax Co ee, other refreshments, Souvenirs, and various other stalls. e Main Sponsor, TMT Legal Continued on page 11
