Mentoring is being o ered from expert business leaders for speci c industries, including the visitor economy, manufacturing, the creative and tech industries, and those wanting to reach Net Zero. Paula Swain, Solent LEP Business Director, and SME supporter, said: “This new business mentoring support programme provides a valuable opportunity for businesses in the visitor economy, manufacturing, Net Zero, creative and tech industries to work with mentors with the expertise and experience to guide them towards sustained growth and business resilience. We want people to apply to receive support from business leaders from relevant sectors, to strengthen their taking part, but it will also provide more opportunities for all our communities to flourish.” ose accepted onto the business mentoring programme will receive 12 hours of one-to-one support and will be matched with a business leader mentor who has experience in their speci c industry. Business mentors will share their diverse expertise and personal experience in growing, supporting, and leading successful businesses. Each session will be tailored to meet bespoke goals and objectives, helping to overcome barriers to growth, launch products, lead successful teams, or create strategies to enter new markets.
