Organised by the 5th Testwood Scouts, this year’s Santa Run will include two routes with a 2.5km family friendly dash or for the more serious Santa’s there will be a 5km route. Entry for the 2.5km Santa Dash is £15 for adults, under 12’s £9, under 3’s free or a family ticket (2+2) is £40. e Serious Santa 5km is £16 for adults, under 12s £10 and under 3’s free. Entry includes your Santa suit – choose the size when signing up and a medal on completion of your run. e Totton Santa Run will be followed by a Christmas Fayre held at the nishing line, with lots of local stall holders, ra es and competitions. Copythorne Victorian Christmas Daish-Handy and Martin Penrose present Cruise Classics, a programme based on their music and experiences while giving recitals on the high seas. The performers came together in 2018 to form the Adler Strings having worked as freelance musicians for many years in the UK, overseas and on cruise ships. They have also worked with the local chamber orchestra, Nova Foresta. Their repertoire for this concert includes both classical and contemporary works, some by less well-known string trio composers. Doors open at 6.30pm and the concert will start at 7pm.
