All ve designs were on the theme of Halloween and featured Containers associated with autumn and the chosen title. Number one was an all round design in a pumpkin, lots of greenery and owers in hues of orange, gold and yellow. Roses, gerbera, chrysanthemums and hydrangea heads looked really attractive. Next came a vertical depicting Phantom of the Opera, with Denise telling the story. Red roses, ting ting, two tone spray roses and white roses were complimented by fatsia leaves, eucalyptus and palm leaves. It wouldn’t be Halloween without a witches cauldron titled lotions and potions. In shades of purple, orange, pink and green owers included roses and Lizianthus. Lots of greenery and pretty Clematis all made for a delightful design. A churchyard theme was the next design with clever use of mechanics. Twigs, grasses and white painted birch reminiscent of a natural area. Carnations, antique pink Carnations, yellow gerbera and a ceonopsis looked very attractive together. To conclude they had the story of sleeping beauty and the idea behind the good fairy turning evil. Purple Lizianthus, hypericum berries, Carnations and liatris made for a striking design. Next month is their seasonal celebration with food and games. Sure to be great fun. ey meet at Hythe and Dibden Parish Hall on the second Thursday of the month except August, 7 for 7.30pm.
