Every evening meeting includes a ra e with many members leaving with a prize or two. e club holds many events throughout the year with speakers on various topics, picnics, quizzes, car meets, club drive days and an annual charity auction. e last meet up was at the delightful cafe at In-Excess, Landford. e pouring rain did not deter members from attending and enjoying themselves. e club is always happy to welcome new members that are owners of any make of classic car, not forgetting those enthusiasts who appreciate them but don’t have one of their own, to come and meet the club members with a view to joining. Members have a range of classic vehicles enabling the club to include all enthusiasts. Donations can be taken along to the stall on the day of the sales or alternatively you can call 0344 963 2463 to arrange for a collection to be made. Lions are both men and women, and there are no age restrictions to membership other than you must be over 18. ey are approachable people from many walks of life, and they enjoy an active social life. A few hours a month are all it takes to help others less fortunate in the community.
