The Davvi Arctic Lodge Hotel was beautiful, and we had the chance to try snowmobiling, tobogganing, and even husky sledding (which was so good I did it twice),” she recalls. “It was a truly magical experience, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights three times during the week.” Meanwhile, our Assistant Branch Manager Linda ful lled a lifelong dream by travelling to South Africa. “We started in Hermanus, staying at the Marine Hotel overlooking the sea, and I was thrilled to see African Penguins at Stony Point,” she shares. e highlight of her trip was a safari at the Garden Route Game Lodge, where she saw the Big Five. “It was amazing to see lions, rhinos, elephants, and more up close. Our trip ended in Cape Town with a visit to Table Mountain—it was truly unforgettable, and if I had the chance I would do it all again!” Julie, our Senior Travel Consultant spent 2024 visiting a variety of destinations, but Bali le the biggest impression. “My favourite destination this year was Bali, Indonesia. I hiked to the top of Mt. Batur, an active volcano where I experienced an incredible sunrise and spent time exploring the jungle resort of Ubud,” she says. Julie also travelled to the idyllic Gili Islands, where she biked around the island and snorkelled with turtles. “Bali’s blend of culture, beautiful landscapes, and friendly people make it a mustvisit for anyone.” At Fred.
