At Harveys they have renewed their focus on selecting some of the nest and unique cheeses for your Christmas celebrations. Last year Jonathan (Harveys Cheese Expert) curated his ten festive showstoppers, and this year they are returning once again with ve British and ve Continental cheeses for you to enjoy and discover. Taking his expertise as the International Cheese and Dairy Awards UK Ambassador and his eighteen years’ industry experience, he has sourced cheeses that will delight you and your Christmas guests. Wanting to support his passionate customers, he has made every e ort to impress to ensure all tastebuds will be delighted this Christmas. Two showstopper cheeses that are certainly worth a mention are Bibury from Gloucestershire; this is a sheep’s milk cheese that, is silky smooth, with a light and sweet richness. Jonathan had the pleasure of trying it rst hand while judging at the British Cheese Awards this year and helped it on its way to win the Ann-Marie Dyas Trophy at the same show. He knew instantly he had to select this as new cheese as one of his showstoppers! e second is Ciock, an Italian organic hard cheese which is matured in the pomace of Cabernet and Merlot grapes. With an intense winey aroma and bold avour this cheese has a yellow straw-coloured centre which is compact, while the texture is semi-hard yet crumbly, transforming into a creamy palate experience.
