We will be holding our annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 23rd November, 10am-1pm in St John’s Hall, with a wide range of gi s and other Christmas items for sale, as well as prizes to be won. Do come along and support this event and start getting into the Christmas spirit! Our Advent services begin on Sunday 1st December. Everyone is invited to join us for our special service of Advent Carols at 5.30pm that day. is will be followed by our Festival of Carols on 15th December at 5.30pm, and then our Epiphany Carol Service on Sunday 5th January at 5.30pm. For the young and young-at-heart we have a Christingle Service at 4pm on Sunday 8th December as well as a special Family Carol Service at 4pm on Sunday 22nd December. Bubble Church will be running throughout December with a special Christmas theme each week. Bubble Church runs from 9.30am-10am each Sunday, with doors opening at 9.15am for co ee and croissants beforehand. As well as all this, Messy Church will be returning with some special Christmas sessions! You are very welcome to join us on either Friday 29th November (at St John’s Hall) or Friday 6th December (at St Anne’s). Both sessions run a er school from 3.30pm-5pm and we’ll even be enjoying some special Christmas food together! On Christmas Eve, from 2pm-3.30pm we will be holding a ‘Creative Christmas’ drop in event in St John’s Church. Come and join us for some fun Christmas cra s and activities suitable for all the family. Can You Help To Knit Some Woolly Angels? Every year St John’s Church in Hythe like to inform the local community of their church service times in the most angelic of ways. At the beginning of December the church give away little hand cra ed angel keepsakes along with their Christmas service times attached. e ‘Angel Lady’ Sue Blomley is asking for anyone who enjoys knitting, crocheting or sewing to get involved. If you are able to help you can pick up a pattern from e Herald O ce. Please drop all nished angels o to the Church or Hall o ce by the end of November. Hythe Spiritualist Church Hythe Spiritualist Church Independent invites you to join them every Friday night, 7pm–9.30pm, at Hythe Community Centre, Brinton Lane (SO45 6DU) for a divine service of mediumship and clairvoyance. No charge, donations accepted. All are welcome. Go along with an open mind to join this Reading Group who read and discuss the Bible together, to form their own opinions about its message.
