Acclaimed car designer, restorer and customiser, Andy Saunders will be talking on Saturday 23rd November about his motivations, inspirations, in uences, and passions. is promises to be a journey inside his workshop and his imagination. Known as the ‘Automotive Alchemist’, Andy is a charismatic genius and his creations have become design icons. Christopher MacGowan will be known by many supporters of the National Motor Museum as its longterm Trustee and former Chairman. On Saturday 14th December, he will give an insight into his fascinating career in the British motor industry, working for British Leyland, Massey Ferguson and the RMI during the turbulent times of the 1970’s and 1980’s, before becoming Chief Executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders in the 1990s. Christopher will talk about the challenges he faced in the motor industry, and share some highlights both from that career and his time with the National Motor Museum.
