Take a look at the TAS website: www.tottonartsociety.org to see what is planned for the start of this year. Visitors are welcome to TAS’s evening sessions held on the last Wednesday of each month, 7.30pm–9.30pm at the ree Score Club, Totton SO40 3RS. e charge for non-members on the evening is £4 and refreshments are available. If, a er visiting, you feel TAS is a good t for you, and you decide to join that evening the £4 will be refunded. Coming up in January they will be looking at still life taking small objects of interest such as shells, using your choice of media. To see the work of TAS members pop along to the Eling Tide Mill Experience café. Every two months the display changes and a new group display their work. ey hope you nd it interesting and inspiring. Everyone is on their own personal journey in art, if you are taking your rst steps or if you have years of experience there is a place for everyone at TAS. Although they don’t hold formal classes, you will learn lots and have fun! Resolution Selection Langley WI’s next meeting is on Tuesday 21st January for Resolution Selection with a sh and chip supper. Waterside Repair Café If you have an item sitting at home, not working, take it along to the Waterside Repair Café on the last Saturday of each month, the next session will be on 25th January. eir volunteers will do their best to repair it and if they can’t they might know someone who can. If your item is beyond repair the team will tell you the best way to dispose of it. From clocks, household electricals to umbrellas, they have seen it all. Go on down and say hello and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake while you wait. e Repair Café takes place on the last Saturday of each month at Black eld Baptist Church Hall.
