In this brand new show, Lee shares his stage with a tough-talking werewolf comedian from the dark forests of the subconscious who hates humanity. e Man-Wulf lays down a ferocious comedy challenge to the culturally irrelevant and physically enfeebled Lee. Can the beast inside us all be silenced with the silver bullet of Lee’s unprecedentedly critically acclaimed style of stand-up? Stitches Comedy Club is on at MAST May ower Studios on 6th February. A er sell-out shows in July and October 2024, Stitches Comedy Club are back with another stellar line up. Opening the show is Sindhu Vee, household name and star of shows such as Live At e Apollo, e Jonathan Ross Show, QI, House of Games, Would I Lie To You, e Last Leg and Mock e Week. Chris McCausland: Yonks! is coming to MAST May ower Studios from 18th - 19th February. Chris McCausland is hitting the road again with another masterclass in stand-up comedy that has literally been yonks in the making. You might have seen him on Scared of the Dark, Would I Lie to You, Have I Got News for You, e Royal Variety, QI, Blankety Blank, e Last Leg, and most recently, Strictly Come Dancing. Sarah Keyworth: My Eyes Are Up Here is at MAST May ower Studios on 26th February. Sarah Keyworth is back with a brand new, joyous show about family, acceptance and a pair of big (well, not super big) losses. is show has recently become the Winner of the Most Outstanding Show at e Melbourne Comedy Festival 2024. As seen on Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two) and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4). Omid Djalili: Namaste is at MAST May ower Studios on 27th February. The Persian Comedy Powerhouse performs his critically acclaimed new show NAMASTE where Omid peacefully bows to his inner anger and unleashes a torrent of comedic vitriol upon the current state of this dangerously messed up planet. All Saints church, Fawley hosted a Christmas concert on Saturday 30th November. Despite a cold evening, over one hundred people attended to hear music from the Melody Makers, a local singing group; and Frontline Ukulele band. It was a mixture of songs old and new, some with a Christmas theme. e evening nished with Frontline; accompanied by e Melody Makers singers and the audience singing along to the well know favourites of “I wish it could be Christmas every day “, “Merry Christmas everybody” and “Rocking around the Christmas tree”. It was a wonderful way to end the evening; perhaps the interval wine helped the singing!! e event was sponsored by Cadland Estates and ra e prizes were donated by Tescos; Sam Long Fruit and Vegetables; Lepe Country Park, Fairweathers Garden Centre, and members of the church. e evening raised £622.58. Create a decorative piece of work of your own design combining contact/ nature printing, lino stamps, frottage, Indian ink drawing and stitch on to a material base. Material, thread, stamps, and ink will be provided (nonwashable ink).
