We’re searching for people who can combine a passion to protect and help our communities, with the drive to learn and use lifesaving skills. One day you’ll be responding to 999 calls and the next you’ll be helping people to understand how to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. You don’t need any prior re ghting experience to join us as full training is provided. Having a workforce of di erent backgrounds, experiences, life skills and approaches helps us to deliver a better service and make our community even safer. To kick o the recruitment process there will be a series of open days to help people nd out more about the role, get hands-on with re ghting equipment and have the chance to ask questions. At the open days you can • Get advice on how to apply and prepare for interviews. • Ask current re ghters any questions you have. • Try out the practical selection tests included in the recruitment process. • Learn more about the various aspects of a re ghter’s role, including community re prevention work.
