Ann Faircloth was rst to take the stage. A beautiful urn-shaped glass container was used for this all round design. An outline had been created using various types of foliage including eucalyptus, pittosporum and twigs. Pink chrysanthemums, pink alstroemeria, apricot lisianthus, deep pink roses and some attractive owers Ann had made from dried material and sprayed pink. ree small posies completed her design. Jan Gordon created a pot-au- eur using a selection of plants including fern, peace lily, a very pretty primula and a Christmas cactus. Moss was placed around the pots and a second placement of spring owers in a trough completed this design. Frances Barnett used a large pottery container for this design. Grevillea, pittosporum, laurel and rosemary were added. Blue agapanthus, white alstroemeria, peach antirrhinums, apricot lisianthus, beautiful Miss Piggy roses, carnations and tulips completed this arrangement. e second design was created material instead of using oasis. Catkins, eucalyptus, ivy and viburnum tinus were added together with peach antirrhinums, white alstroemeria, peach roses, carnations, pink clematis and mimosa.
