The South East area includes locally Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight as well as further a eld Bracknell Forest, Reading, Windsor & Maidenhead, Slough, West Berkshire, Wokingham, Kent, Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, and Brighton & Hove. Residents, businesses, and interest groups are being asked to take part in the online survey seeking people’s views on TfSE’s recently published dra Transport Strategy. Participants are being asked to tell them what they think about TfSE’s vision and missions and the transport challenges and priorities that have been identi ed. The draft strategy includes plans to improve accessibility to essential services; reducing the impact of disruption on the transport network; and tackling climate change. e ‘Your Voices’ survey can be found online at: tfse.org.uk until Friday 7th March. Councillor Keith Glazier, Chair of TfSE, said: “The views of those living and working in the South East are an essential part of helping us shape our updated Transport Strategy. It will seek to address the unique transport needs and challenges of different communities within the region. One of our key roles is to speak to government about transport priorities and challenges that need to be addressed in our region. To do this effectively, we need to hear from as many people as possible across the South East.” Keith Glazier, Chair of Transport for the South East Austin A30/A35 Owners Club Southampton and New Forest (but most members do not have an A30/A35) ursday 16th January about 21 members attended the belated Annual Christmas Dinner at e Empress of Blandings, no lack of water but seemed somewhat strange to be having turkey and Christmas pudding again, a er the Boxing Day le over turkey. On ursday 13th February, this year’s club charity, Age Concern, dropped into the evening meeting to give a presentation. On 13th March Robert the A30/A35 club technical guru will demonstrate his encyclopaedic knowledge of the genre, he also has sheds of old, new and NOS parts... hence ask Robert if you need that missing part or upgrade etc! Most members do not have an A30 genre vehicle but just enjoy an evening chat with likeminded classic car bods at Netley Marsh Community Hall, SO407GE, on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7.30pm. A daylight co ee/tea/breakfast chat is held at a cafe/tearoom on the 4th Thursday of the month at around 10am, the location of which is decided at the evening meeting.
