From the Waterside Christmas Fire Engine Committee Did you know it’s less than 290 days to Christmas and the countdown has begun! But the Waterside Christmas Fire Engine isn’t just for Christmas. It is used during the year to try and raise the £3000 needed to keep the engine on the road e Christmas Fire Engine December collection goes to local good causes and charities. However e Christmas Fire Engine committee must nd £3000 a year to keep it running and on the road. We know how much the community likes the Waterside Christmas Fire Engine, so we take it to local fetes where the community are allowed to explore the re engine and hopefully help us raise our much-needed funds.
