All Saints Church in Fawley are holding a Flower Festival from Friday 13th June - Sunday 15th June. e theme, following on from the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, and awaiting the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Japan Day coming up in August; is “Flowers for Peace”. e church will be open 11am until 4pm during the Flower Festival. Entry is free. Please go along and tell all your friends about it too. On Saturday 14th June there will be activities in the form of nature trails for children around the churchyard. e Melody Makers, a popular local singing group, will be o ering a free performance at 2pm. ere will be tea, co ee, so drinks, biscuits, and homemade cake to sample at reasonable prices. Also, ra e tickets which could win you a lovely prize, will be available to buy. e ra e will be drawn at 3pm on Sunday 15th June. All monies raised will go towards restoring the beautiful church organ. ey look forward to seeing you there. Patronal Festival at St John’s Church From the Parish of Hythe On Sunday 22nd June we will be celebrating our Patronal Festival at St John’s Church. On that day, all three of our regular morning congregations will be joining together for one special combined service at 10am. e Bubble Church puppets will be in action, but there will also be the opportunity to sing some much-loved hymns alongside our Bubble Church favourites. If you’re curious and would like to nd out more about what goes on at St John’s Church on a Sunday morning then please do come and join us for this service. We will also be sharing in a special celebratory lunch together and everyone is invited to stay for this. You may remember that last year we celebrated the 150th anniversary of St John’s Church. To commemorate this occasion, we had some beautiful photobooks produced. We still have a very small number of these le should you wish to purchase one. ey are £29 each and contain both historic and more recent photographs of St John’s Church. The Hythe Christmas Tree Festival from Hythe 2000 e Christmas Elves are busily preparing for this year’s enchanting Christmas Tree Festival, and we want you to be a part of the magic! Join us from 22nd November to 9th December at St. John’s Church, New Road, Hythe, for a festive celebration like no other. Mark your calendars! Father Christmas will be making special appearances on Saturday 22nd November, and Saturday 6th December. Don’t miss your chance to meet him in person! Just a quick reminder: he will be spreading cheer at the Mistletoe Fair on November 29th, so be sure to catch him before then!
