Taking place on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June, Dogstival, in partnership with Away Resorts, will be staging the ‘Away Resorts Holiday Park Experience’ decked out with no less than 15tonnes of sand, palm trees, and pools for doggy paddles and dips. With the perfect backdrop in place, beach party vibes will be cranked up a notch or two with a doggy disco and a giant four-legged foam party. With the partying taken care of, this year’s Dogstival will also be brimming with all manner of quirky activities to rival any leading human-centric festival, with new for 2025 activities including: A dedicated ‘Wellness Zone’ with dog yoga (also known as doga) and expert groomers to ensure canines are the epitome of four-legged festival cool. e Paw Prints & Paintbrushes Art Studio - drop-in doggy workshops where hounds can emulate Pablo Picasso’s abstract air using ‘peanut butter on canvas’ or simply freestyling with ‘paw to paint’ creations. Humans, meanwhile, can try their hand at tie-dye to fashion a fancy bandana for their dog to don for their Dogstival day out. Continuing the art theme, a gra ti artist will also be in residence to create a giant gra ti dog installation for the weekend crowds. An outdoor cinema where guests can kick back and relax watching doggy themed movies over ice cream, pupcorn, puppuccinos and more. Plus, any dogs with a birthday around the festival weekend will be invited to a giant ‘tea pawty’ to celebrate in style. e entertainment doesn’t even come close to stopping here… Maintaining their crown for being the festival to o er the most have-a-go activities for a dog to get their paws involved with, Dogstival 2025 will o er no less than two giant diving and splash pools, yball, agility, scent work, lure racing and various ‘scurries’, as well as the ‘Barkour Adventure Playground’. Meanwhile, the Main Arena will host large scale shows and demonstrations from leading local dog behaviorists and there’s plenty of chances to claim a rosette in one of the Fun Dog Show classes. Elsewhere, e Big Top Show Tent will be packed full of acrobatic displays, street performers and comedy with six shows across each day and plenty of crowd participation. Dog lovers can also visit the nation’s most dog friendly pop-up pub, Buddies Bar by e White Buck Inn from Burley, which will play host to Barking Bingo, pub quizzes, breed meet ups and plenty of chances to win treats. Tempting food features on the Dogstival menu too. Dogs can devour treats and puppuccinos from Pop & Bark, and marvellous meaty avours at the Raw Pet Food Pantry Lickie Mat Café to name but a few. Pleasing the tastebuds of human patrons is a host of delights from ‘local’ Hampshire and New Forest artisan producers. Plus, there will more than 130 stands with goodies to treat a pooch and live music all weekend helping keep the party going. As well as putting canine entertainment at the heart of the festival, organisers aim to continue to build on their eco-friendly credentials which saw Dogstival’s 2024 event recycle 67.5% of their waste and reduce its carbon pawprint by 74% by switching to biofuels and solar to power some of the smaller stages.
