Year 1 pupils Vinnie Joseph Phillips and Charlie Hayward were given Social Responsibility Awards for being helpful, kind, considerate and generally “good citizens”. ey chose for their donations to go to local young carers’ charity Honeypot Children’s Charity. Year 5 pupil, Penny Blandford, received the Special Interest Award for gymnastics, speci cally trampolining for which she had won many awards in her age group. She nominated for her donation to go to Starlight Trampoline & Gymnastics Club in Romsey. Congratulations and well done to all three pupils! Held on the first Tuesday of every month, Cra Cinema combines the charm of a good lm with the friendly atmosphere of a community gettogether - complete with the option to bring along your latest knitting, crochet, or handcra project (or just come as you are and enjoy the lm!). We’ve already had two lovely evenings, screening e Dressmaker and Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, with plenty of tea, chat, and cosy vibes to go around. To make things extra cra -friendly, the lights are kept gently up during the lm so you can see what you’re making - no dropped stitches here! Next up, we’ll be showing the visually magical Big Fish and the timeless classic Little Women - so whether you’re in the mood for whimsy or a heartwarming story, there’s something for everyone. Cra Cinema is run in association with Hythe and Dibden Parish Council and Fully Woolly, and is open to all. Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or just someone who loves a good lm, you’re warmly invited. When: First Tuesday of every month, Where: Hythe Parish Hall, Time: 7.30pm, Entry: £6 per person.
