WATERSIDE ARTS JUNE EXTRAVAGANZA Saturday 14th June sees Waterside Arts host what promises to be a fabulous a ernoon and evening of music and visual arts at Vibrant Forest Brewery. Headlining the music is Ken Wood and the Mixers with their stage show The Amazing Stories of Blues and Soul which promises a breathless musical journey to discover the roots of soul. ey are supported by a line-up featuring popular local acts e Sturmey Archers, Glen Jevon, Mike Vaughan, Beardos and Weirdos, and Draconia. Following acclaimed events in previous year’s local cartoonist Simon Chadwick is joined by international collaborators for Cartoon Capers, creating live all day. e brewery will be uniquely transformed into a gallery space for the day where visitors will be able to see works produced at the Creative Café, as well as by other local artists.
