It’s recommended that males aged 40+ take this test. Unfortunately one of their members recently got diagnosed with the disease and he is keen to help others in catching diagnosis early. As individuals and as a Group they follow the Scouting promise to help other people. is £25 test is quick and requires a sample of blood to be taken, the CTS charity will send you results directly. It’s the most common cancer in men, and 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. To take the test they recommend booking a time slot using their google calendar, (calendar.app.google/ QDekL7s9JepJcSRy6) this event is only on for a single day so once you select ‘book an appointment’, select jump to the next bookable date if you are booking more than a week before to allow the times to show. ere will be a selection of refreshments available to purchase whilst you wait for your test, sold by the Scouting team and a Bublé band to keep you entertained.
