Signature Properties is an investment company based in Segensworth. e sale highlights the Group’s value-driven approach to unlock property potential and attract buyers. Waterside Place is located in Southampton’s Town Quay, a commercial waterfront scheme that incorporates further o ces as well as retail and entertainment, and the passenger terminal for the Isle of Wight ferry. ese harbourside buildings bene t from excellent views towards the Solent. 3 and 5 Waterside Place are home to a number of companies with strong connections to the maritime and shipping industries. ese include the global logistics company EV Cargo, as well as NMT International Shipping. It is also an important regional governmental centre – as Waterside Place is also a home to the NHS and the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Waterside Place Local Housebuilder Joins National Effort To Tidy Up Green Spaces A team of 11 employees from Barratt David Wilson Homes’ Southampton division have swapped their lunchbreak for litter-picking at Dowds Farm Park in Hedge End. Armed with gloves, bags and grabbers, the Southampton team rolled up their sleeves at Dowd’s Farm Park just steps away from the division’s o ce in the heart of Hedge End and collected 5 full bags of litter, leaving the park spick and span for local visitors to enjoy. e e ort was part of the Big Barratt Clean Up, a nationwide campaign lead by the wider group Barratt Redrow in partnership with Clean Up UK - a charity that organises litter picking and urban tidying across the country, helping to bring communities together through a sense of pride in their local area. Last year, the Big Barratt Clean Up saw over 430 Barratt employees from across the organisation taking part. In just two weeks, they collected more than 500 bags of litter, weighing a total of 2.7 tonnes. is re ects Barratt’s ongoing commitment to building not just homes but preserving and protecting surrounding natural spaces for its communities.
