We’re back home and it’s ‘walkies’ again Can’t believe it, my owner’s insane All those clouds are so dark We can’t go down the park I’ll get wet cos it’s starting to rain If we must, but I’ve got some bad news For my owner - I need to do ‘poos’ As to leave it’s a sin It will go in the bin Or ‘twill end up on somebody’s shoes In the park she keeps throwing a ball Which I fetch, but it’s starting to gall T’ would be good for her health If she fetched it herself And enough is enough a er all With children she wants me to play Give my paw and then ‘sit’ when they say is, for me, is a bore As I’m smart and do more But so what, I get fed twice a day On that subject I’ve noticed of late at the ‘stu ’ that she puts on my plate’s Always canned and quite bland I should stand and demand Some of her food, it always smells great! Countless ‘goodies’ on me she’s bestowed I’ve got cuddly toys by the load If she wants to please me She should take me to ‘see’ at cute poodle that lives down the road Getting late and she says “time for bath” Must be ‘nuts’ risks incurring my wrath So my growl tells her “no” Had one three months ago I might smell, but she’s having a laugh I give in, now I’ve lost my street ‘cred’ Bath was warm so I’m one ‘sleepy head’ As outside, it’s so cold In a blanket I’m rolled And I’ll sleep at the foot of her bed.
