Run by CARE International UK, one of the world’s leading poverty ghting organisations, Lendwithcare is a revolutionary way for you to help people to work their way out of poverty with dignity. How does it work? An entrepreneur, or group of individuals, has an idea, they need to borrow money on a short term interest free loan, you lend them the money through Lendwithcare, they use the loan to develop their business, they repay the money over the term, you can then withdraw your money or more likely reinvest in another entrepreneur to help them on their way. You can choose who to support. ere are many entrepreneurs, such as Julienne who is 41 years old, married, and has four children. One child has completed High School, while the other three cultivation. Julienne has recently entered her carrot harvesting season, collecting approximately six sacks of carrots weekly, which she sells at the local market. With this loan, she intends to invest further in her business by buying carrot seeds, fertilisers, plant vitamins, and compost, as well as employing ve additional labourers. She hopes this support will help her expand her production and achieve her goal of becoming a local seed supplier, which will increase her income and improve her family’s standard of living.
