If so, 17th Port and Maritime Regiment RLC would like to welcome you to their monthly breakfast club which is open to all current and ex-military services, all ranks, all ages and families. e aim is to come together as an Armed Forces Family, catch up with friends, help social interaction and mental health, talk about current and past experience, support towards housing (SFA’s and social), resettlement support for civilian life, job networking and o er tness wellbeing advice. Go along and enjoy a full English Breakfast at a very small cost of £5 with unlimited FREE brews at Sgts Mess, 17RLC, McMullen Barracks, Cracknore Hard Lane, Marchwood SO40 4ZG on the fourth Saturday of the month between 10am and 12noon. e next two meet ups take place on Saturday 28th June and Saturday 26th July. All personnel attending will need to book into the Guardroom on arrival and will need photograph ID, you will then be directed to the mess. Second Hand Book Fair in Lyndhurst e Lyndhurst Second Hand Book Fair takes place on Saturday 28th June from 10am till 4pm, at the Lyndhurst Community Centre. ere will be 1000’s of antiquarian to second hand books, printed ephemera, maps, and postcards available to purchase. e fair will also have a book binder and restorer in attendance for any book in need of some TLC. East Boldre Scarecrow Trail East Boldre’s rst ever Scarecrow Trail is taking place in the village from 28th–29th June, raising money for the Honeypot Children’s Charity. Pick up a trail map for £2 from e Turfcutters pub, Chapel Stores or East Boldre School Fields. Tea and co ee will be available at the allotments on Saturday and Sunday. Teas, cakes and a BBQ will take place on the Sunday from noon at the School Fields Hall. Cra s hosted by Colours Nursery will be in St Pauls Church on Sunday 10am–2pm. If your item is beyond repair the team will tell you the best way to dispose of it. From clocks, household electricals to umbrellas, they have seen it all. Go on down and say hello and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake while you wait. e Repair Café takes place on the last Saturday of each month at Black eld Baptist Church Hall. Family History Group A small group of enthusiastic people who love delving into your family history and nding out all about your roots meet in the back room at Soul Café, North Road, Dibden Purlieu (the Methodist church) usually on the first Tuesday of each month. (Not in August). ere is so much that can now be explored online, they o er a self-help approach but more experienced members are on hand to provide guidance. ey are always open to new members who are welcome to go along to see what they are about. eir next meeting is on Tuesday 1st July at 7.30pm.
