Following its nomination by several members of sta at the rm, Heartbeat was chosen with a clear majority by the sta at Paris Smith, as the charity they wished to support for the coming 12 month period. Cardiac charity Heartbeat raises funds to support the Wessex Cardiac Unit at University Hospital Southampton for specialised equipment and pioneering projects to improve patient care. e charity also provides free, home-from-home accommodation for patients’ relatives at Rotary Heartbeat House, located directly opposite the hospital. With a goal to raise up to £10,000, Paris Smith will be o ering sponsorship for Heartbeat’s events, as well as running various fundraisers during the year to help achieve their target.
