Pennyfarthing mascot Penny, supported by Technical/ Health & Safety Manager Sean Barry, visited Ashley Infant School to speak with the children about why it’s crucial to think safety- rst around building sites. Penny and Sean delivered their safety talk to a wholeschool assembly, engaging with youngsters from years one through to six with their valuable messages. e Pennyfarthing team also provided every child with an activity book to take home and enjoy. Sarah Dibben, Headteacher at Ashley Infant School, comments: “We love to inspire our young people to learn, grow and achieve in so many different ways. Combining the important messages about building site safety delivered by Sean – along with the excitement of Penny the mascot’s presence – has been an excellent learning opportunity for the children.
