A grand nosh was had by all, (don’t count the calories) including 2 who arrived late on their way to a national rally in their semi open top vehicles… then it monsooned brie y! is was followed by the evening Monthly meet up at Netley Marsh Community Hall on Thursday 10th July for the Summer Barbecue, (don’t count the calories). Obviously all of the food had to be eaten... such a hard life at our age. Various uncar club chats took place among the attendees... grave digging, selling on ebay, running a stall at the National Rally, attending a steam rally for 4 days, and various ill-healths…. of which one could write a book... etc. Hence Pete the chairman organised a trip on the Beaulieu River from Bucklers Hard on 24th July for the club members and their partners. The club meeting’s speaker on Thursday 14th August is all of us! Why is that? Members night – take your old car and then bonnet up and have a chat about the last time you hit it with a hammer…John Cleese style.
