When it came time to have a lunch break the children were able to have some time in the appropriately named ‘Go Wild’ adventure playground with a collection of play equipment some of which allowed the children to organise themselves into supportive roles, so everyone was included in the fun. e a ernoon continued with seeing the larger animals and the children were very attentive to the keeper talking about the deer, especially about the antlers, whilst large European bison and The very popular deer enclosure Asian water bu alo grazed in the next eld. Next were the wallabies and wild boar and then back round to the exit, but not before being rewarded with a well-deserved ice cream. An enjoyable day out with a learning experience for both the children and adults. e New Forest Rotary volunteers were able to tell other members that the local annual sponsored trip to the new venue of New Forest Wildlife Park had been a great success, and the children were a credit to the school.
