Trail maps costing £2.50 are available from Toys Ahoy and Meeple Play Café e Scarecrow Festival will conclude with a family focused fun day on Saturday 20th September, 11am–4pm, at Hythe and Dibden Parish Hall, with an award ceremony for the best Scarecrows. Romsey & Waterside Lions Club Donate £750 to Romsey Rugby Club Romsey & Waterside Lions Club has donated £750 to the Romsey Rugby Club which is a community sports club that provides opportunities for people from 11 upwards to play rugby, including touch and walking rugby. ere are participants in their 70’s and 80’s and rugby is credited as being very important for mental and physical health. RFU regulations require that every session must have a qualified first aider present whose quali cations must be renewed every three years. e donation will help pay for the cost of training the 40 plus volunteer rst aiders and the restocking of rst aid kits, ensuring that there is a safe and inclusive environment for players, families and the wider community.
