I’m looking forward to seeing the Romsey & Waterside Lions have given £500 to the Solent Dolphin Charity in Hythe which runs boat trips on the Solent from Hythe Marina to give passengers with disabilities free 2-hour trips up and down the estuary. The M/V Alison MacGregor is a purpose built catamaran for 12 passengers including carers. It has Romsey & Waterside Lions Give £500 to the Solent Dolphin Charity Lion Pat Geere presenting the cheque to the crew of the Alison MacGregor a ramp access and so is accessible for wheelchair users or those with walking di culties. e Charity is run entirely by volunteers, and the boat is crewed by experienced mariners who freely give their time to help entertain others who are less fortunate than themselves.
