For tickets and information visit: www.southampton reworks.co.uk Recognising The Work of SCARF At the last speaker evening in September for Hythe & Waterside Rotary (H&W), members and their guests were fortunate to be joined by Gary Morgan of New Forest charity SCARF (supporting children with additional needs, relatives and friends). is amazing parent-led charity supports the needs of over 120 families of children and young people with additional needs or disability. ey organise an amazing array of term-time clubs and holiday activities ranging from kayaking, to taekwondo, to drama clubs. ere is also a youth club for those aged 13+. Over the summer months they usually run 6 holiday programmes with over 88 activities. e charity relies entirely upon grants and donations to fund the work they do. Gary’s presentation was so inspiring, and H&W Rotary were delighted to give a donation in support of the work they do.
