Brand-New Christmas Night Train To Light Up The Magic Of Christmas At Exbury Gardens Exbury Gardens is set to shine even brighter this winter as it unveils a Christmas Night Train, an enchanting illuminated steam train ride around the woodland gardens a er dark. e a er-hours train ride will be the centrepiece of two weekends of festive fun at Exbury on 29th and 30th November and 6th and 7th December which also feature a Christmas Fair, woodland trail, an opportunity to meet Father Christmas and the everpopular Festive Express daytime train adventure. For the rst time ever, visitors will be able to enjoy the Christmas Night Train on Exbury’s Rhododendron Line Steam Railway, gliding past twinkling lights and festive displays while the rest of Exbury sleeps. Promising to be a highlight for families and railway enthusiasts alike, trains will run at 6pm, 6.45pm and 7.30pm. Each departure will feature a personal send-o from Father from disaster, a theatrical experience that children and grown-ups will love. And, elsewhere in the gardens, a bustling Christmas Fair will feature more than 60 stalls brimming with cra s, gi s and seasonal treats, alongside live festive music. A family woodland trail will weave through the New Forest gardens, with donkey rides also available for younger visitors. Father Christmas will be welcoming children to his grotto inside the traditional railway Engine Shed, and before meeting him, youngsters can write and post their letters and then receive a special gi . “The illuminated Christmas Night Train is a wonderful new chapter for Exbury’s steam railway,” said Robin Savill, Head of Operations at Exbury Gardens. “Running after dark adds a whole new dimension to the railway and we’re confident it will quickly become a firm favourite with visitors.” Ticket prices • Christmas gardens daytime admission (including Christmas Fair and festive woodland trail): Adult £6.50, Children FREE, Friends of Exbury members FREE • Festive Express steam train ride: £9.50pp (Friends £8.50pp), Under 3s FREE • Christmas Night Train (NEW): £20pp (Friends £18), Under 3s FREE – does not include entrance to the daytime Christmas Fair or trail • Meet Father Christmas: £11 (£10 for Friends) including a present Festive Express, Christmas Night Train, Meet Father Christmas and Donkey Ride tickets should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment at: www.exbury.co.uk.
