SO42 7RY. A Hungarian Journey in 2005 by Paul Gosling “We flew into Budapest airport and had an exciting landing to start with, then by bus and metro into the city to where we were staying. The next few days were busy with mainline and private railways including steam and narrow-gauge railways, the trip was organised by Basingstoke and District Railway Society (BDRS) with regular travellers and a professional railway man, it was very well organised and they also arranged the sun for the whole trip! With good company and good food, it made for an excellent trip.” Visitors welcome. £5 on the door.
