It is part of everyday life, and we all interpret it di erently. Unfortunately, your body can’t tell the di erence between BIG stress and little stress, so it reacts the same way for both. Your brain creates hundreds of chemical changes to increase your ability to cope, but these same hormones can leave feelings of anxiety, lead to depression, insomnia, irritability and headaches. Left unchecked, they can increase blood pressure, upset digestion, and exhaust you both physically and mentally. Whilst it may not be possible to eliminate all the causes of your stress, you don’t need to become a victim of it. You can learn to control stress and manage your reactions to situations, so that you view everything in a calmer, more positive manner, and Hypnotherapy is a very e ective way of achieving this.
