Michael Ockwell, May ower Chief Executive said: “We are thrilled that the Mayflower Theatre Trust Board approved a capital investment of over £12 million on the building works across the venue with the new rehearsal space, new grid and new WCs. With the challenges of running a Grade II listed building, we know that the toilet facilities have not been a great experience for our customers. This refurbishment will provide wonderful new facilities for many years to come.” Matt Goode, Chief Operating O cer added: “The project will bring our toilets up to current building standards with larger cubicles, improved access, and new features to not only fit into the art deco heritage of the building but also to address the challenges faced with peak audience requirements. We are also delighted to announce that we will be creating a new accessible toilet for customers located in the front stalls section of the auditorium. This is a much-needed improvement and will provide accessible facilities for customers without requiring them to leave the building. In addition to this we will continue to deliver on our inclusion and diversity agenda, and to be compliant with new legislation.” Refurbished Toilet Designs ©Temple Ford Design
