On Saturday 7th February, from 10am to 4pm, St John’s Church in Hythe will host an exciting Lego exhibition. Local Adult Fans of Lego (AFOLs) will display their expertly cra ed creations, showcasing their creativity and impressive building skills through a variety of imaginative displays. Following last year’s successful exhibition, this year’s event will showcase a vibrant selection of entirely new creations. Attendees can experience the lively atmosphere of a fair, with bright rides and animated fairground scenes; explore a pirate-themed area lled with ships and pirates; and admire remarkable botanical builds, demonstrating Lego artistry with owers and plants. e exhibition also promises numerous distinctive models and unexpected delights, ensuring enjoyment for Lego enthusiasts of every age. e exhibition is open to everyone, and there is no need to pre-book. Simply go along and enjoy a day lled with creativity, inspiration, and community spirit. Entry: £2.50 per person, children free. Lego Exhibition Are There Any Budding Naturalists About? from Eddie Holtham - Warren Copse and Holbury Manor Conservation Group Fawley Parish Council own the Public Open Space of Holbury Manor Park and Warren Copse, which was once part of one of the granges supplying food to the Monastery at Beaulieu, and Warren Copse is a listed SemiAncient Woodland. e Parish Council recently commissioned an Ecological Appraisal & Biodiversity Management Plan by the Hampshire Wildlife Trust. e Plan suggests inviting Groups (or individuals) to survey the site on their particular interest i.e. bats, birds, fungi, ora, fauna, etc. e Conservation Group were wondering whether there was anyone local that would be interested in helping us to produce a record of what we have, so that we can evaluate in the future any progress. Anyone helping would be invited to become an associate member of our Group.
